Diligent & Dependent

This week I am preparing 6 teachings that I’ll be delivering in different contexts over the 2 following weeks.  This Saturday I’ll be teaching several outgoing missionary teams about “Supernatural Conflict: Experiencing God in the Midst of Conflicts.”  The following Monday I’ll be leading our Spiritual Warfare Learning Initiative on Dealing with Demons.  I’ll tell you about the other 4 teachings later.  But overall please pray along these lines: “Holy Spirit, please strengthen David to be diligent in handling The Word (2 Timothy 3:15) while also being earnestly dependent on the Holy Spirit to demonstrate His presence and power. (1 Corinthians 2:1-5).”

P.S. Thanks for praying the group that I’m leading in preparing ourselves for spiritual warfare.  We’ve been experiencing some serious “lab work” through barrages of faming arrows in our own lives and in the lives of those we’re serving.  But so far Jesus is undefeated, and we’re learning through experience to increasingly join Him in that.
