The Bond of Peace
I’ve often said that I invest a lot of time helping good people who are doing good things to get along with one another. I take comfort in seeing that Paul’s letters show that he also invested a lot his time and energy the same way. In recent weeks I’ve once again been led into helping to mediate a couple of tense situations between groups of Navigator leaders. They are all good people, with strong feelings and opinions! Please pray with me from Ephesians 4:1-3: “Head of the Body, please enable David to help these leaders to walk in a manner worthy of our calling, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

David
P.S. Thanks for praying for me as I was teaching on resilience. I did feel weak, and I certainly needed the very resilience I was teaching. Preaching 4 new messages in 3 days was a lot. Plus 12-14 hours a day with people. But it does seem like there was a demonstration of God’s Spirit and power. The impact was so strong on one key leader that he said, “I just want to stop crying!”. Each day since returning home I’ve been receiving comments from others who were not there saying how they’d heard how God was working. Here are links to audio recording of my messages:
