The Grace Gap
Sometimes you prepare well and still feel a big gap between what you bring and what you sense God wants to do. That’s the Grace Gap, where God’s supernatural enabling grace flows. I’m feeling that grace gap now as I finish preparing 5 sessions that I will be leading next week for nearly 100 Navigator leaders, staff, staff in training and students in a variety of contexts on a variety of topics:
· Foundations of Spiritual Warfare
· Lordship: The Good News of the Arrival of the Kingdom (Message & Workshop)
· The Nature of the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom
· Making Disciplemaking Simple Again
Please pray: Holy Spirit, please come and demonstrate your power in David’s weakness as he speaks so many times this coming week. (1 Corinthians 2:1-5)
Pray First
David
P.S. Thanks for praying for ongoing restoration and renewal for Renée and me. We are slowly, slowly healing and gaining some altitude. This modern fable of the eagle powerfully expresses what we feel like we are experiencing: Mount Up.
