This is war.

For several years Renée and I have given increasing focus to serving with a group of senior Navigator leaders who are seeking God together and interceding for one another and others each week.  We call ourselves a Fire Team.  In the military a fire team is a small infantry unit that provides covering fire for one another as they leapfrog forward on a battlefield.  Recently we’ve been called in to provide prayer cover for groups of Navigator leaders who are hurting or are facing especially difficult challenges.

As the Fire Team is engaging in strategic prayer across the work of The Navigators, we are noticing a significant increase in Navigators encountering evil spirits afflicting our workers and those we serve.  So, May 11 we are launching a six-month Spiritual Warfare Learning Initiative for 30 Navigator staff & leaders who are hungry for this kind of help.  We need to pray: Almighty God, please use David & Renée and the Fire Team to equip Navigator leaders to be effective and fruitful in spiritual warfare.
