Weakness

I suppose that if the Apostle Paul boasted about his weakness, it’s OK if I mention mine again.  6 months into recovering from my bike crash, I seem stuck at about 75% recovery from my concussion.  If I work too hard, I get vestibular migraines.  But don’t feel sorry for me.  That just means that I need to take more breaks and walks, and become content with doing less.  That last part is the hard part for me, but I’m learning.  In fact, God’s doing a very good work in my heart.  I’m seeing more specialists and they are still optimistic that I’ll get to 100%.  In the meantime, for some reason I seem to do better when I’m traveling.  So, we’re off to the Middle East again.  So, please pray with me: Strong God, please demonstrate more and more of Your strength in David’s weakness.  (2 Corinthians 11-12)

P.S.1: God provided the 10 people that was seeking to intercede for us daily as we go to join 1000 other workers for 72 hours of prayer in the Muslim world.  If you’d still like to pray with us at any point over the next week or so, here’s a link: Prayer Guide

P.S.2. Last week I drove up to the University of Wyoming to speak on Discipling The Lost.  You might enjoy listening to that message: Discipling the Lost
