Development Purgatory

Three years ago, I gathered some fellow workers to birth the Together app to help to ignite and fuel disciple-making movements.  I thought it would take a year.  I was naïve!  At that time, an Egyptian friend had a dream about me swimming and swimming and swimming toward that goal.  We’re still swimming.  In fact, it feels like we’re stuck in software “development purgatory”.   Those who have experienced early versions of our app love it, and it’s already bearing fruit, but we need breakthroughs to get it finished and into the hands of those who need it.  Father of Abraham, please fill David and the Together team with the faith and patience to inherit what You’ve promised.  (Hebrews 6:12)

 PrayFirst,

David

P.S.  Our 2 ½ weeks in Kenya and Zimbabwe were fruitful and inspiring.  The Navigator board chairs from dozens of countries around our worldwide partnership are amazing men and women, some overcoming incredible obstacles in hostile contexts.  Our Africa Regional Leadership Team is launching a plan to change the spiritual landscape of that continent.  The ministry in Zimbabwe is flourishing and spreading quickly in a tough economic environment.  Renée and I have recovered from the food poisoning that afflicted several of us.
