This week our team is gathering with our Asia Pacific Leadership Team in Nepal. Why Nepal? We will be observing and learning from a movement of the Gospel among Hindus that was birthed through Navigators over the last several decades. It has not been easy. But it is now beginning to bear much fruit. It reminds me of what Paul saw in the fledgling movement of the Gospel among the Thessalonians. The word of God was sounding forth (literally echoing) from them throughout their region. Bearing in mind 1 Thessalonians 3:2, please pray that as we visit, God would use us to strengthen and encourage the faith of Nepali Navigators and of our Asia Pacific leaders.
Prayer Update: A woman from India died on the aircraft that eventually flew us to Abu Dhabi on our way to Kathmandu. The delays caused me to miss serving as the keynote speaker at the conference on integrity here. But God was working for everyone’s good, because the 60 pastors who came spent that day praying and talking about their response to new stricter laws regarding religious conversions here. Then the next day they video recorded my messages for their next gathering. It’s true: The mind of a man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps!
